- Forces
- Piano, Organ, Trio
- Personnel
- Sante Palumbo piano, Hammond organ and keyboards, Marco Ricci double bass, Stefano Bagnoli drums and percussion, with Bruno De Filippi harmonica and electric guitar and Danilo Rossi viola as guests
Alongside the trio’s piano, bass and drums come Hammond organ, harmonica, electric guitar and viola. Bruno De Filippi and La Scala principal violist Danilo Rossi appear selectively, so the instrumental colour changes considerably across the album.
Even the familiar titles take less obvious routes. “Aria sulla quarta corda” returns to Bach’s orchestral Air rather than Wilhelmj’s violin arrangement, while the Minuet comes from the same Second Orchestral Suite as the opening Badinerie.
